Brad Badelt
Brad Badelt is a freelance writer and radio documentary producer based in Vancouver, British Columbia. His work has appeared in a variety of outlets including the CBC, Canadian Geographic, The Walrus, and others. He grew up in northern Ontario before heading to B.C. in his twenties to hike, climb
and ski. Slogging through knee-deep muck on the West Coast Trail that first summer sealed his fate as a west coaster for life. Two decades later, he still loves spending time in the mountains and the ocean with his wife and son. Brad was recently shortlisted for a climate reporting award by the Canadian Journalism Foundation.
