With over a decade of meditation and yoga experience, Isabelle Ellingson blends her theatrical background with mindfulness. She is the founder of Shakespeare on the Water. With over a decade of meditation and yoga experience, Isabelle blends her theatrical background with mindfulness. Her practice began at Green Gulch Farm and Zen Center, where she would run through the roses in the Peace Garden and crawl into her Buddhist art therapist grandmother’s lap during dharma talks. Isabelle continues to spend time near the ocean, maintaining a strong yoga and Pilates practice, and teaching privately in nature.
In 2024, she launched slowfog.co, a creative production house focused on inclusive, community-driven projects blending theater, film, and wellness. Since 2014, Isabelle has taught and directed with an emphasis on movement and presence in Tam High’s drama department, leading students in mindfulness-based practices.
Currently pursuing an MBA, Isabelle aims to merge creative vision with strategic action, empowering youth and fostering innovative, nature-inspired ideas that cultivate a deeper collective soul for the planet. She holds a BFA in Acting from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
