Madison Chapman is a writer and humanitarian worker based in Washington, D.C. with work appearing in The Washington Post and Ms. Magazine. She has a master’s degree in international affairs from Tufts University and an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of California, Berkeley. When she’s not traveling or working, you can find her throwing pottery, practicing yoga, biking, and backpacking with her husband.
