A Misstep and a Tumble

Stefan Ager has given us a firsthand look at what it’s like to fall off a mountain. His helmet-cam footage of careening backward off a ridge in Norway reminds us why we’re careful in the backcountry.

Although Ager is lucky to walk away from this spill, he gives a good reason for stepping into your skis below the ridgeline.
