Not long after launching himself off a 394-foot-tall power pylon near Konakova, Russia, a young BASE jumper's parachute failed to open properly. He fell at a speed of 105 miles per hour, according to the text below the YouTube clip, and crashed into a pile of snow.
He fractured his vertebrate, pelvis, and legs. Three months later he was able to walk again, according to this report from The Daily Mail.
