A group of Texas paleontologists has identified a new species of dinosaur after assembling fossils collected during an expedition in northern Alaska in 2006. It took Anthony Fiorillo, chief curator at the Museum of Nature & Science in Dallas, and his team of scientists until early 2011 to clean and reconstruct the fossils, after which they realized they had discovered a new species. The dinosaur will be named Pachyrhinosaurus perotorum, after billionaire and former presidential candidate Ross Perot. A full-scale fossil structure of Pachyrhinosaurus will be shown at the newly built Perot Museum.
