Tour company Whistler Outdoor Adventure is under investigation for allegedly killing 70 dogs following a downturn in business after the 2010 Olympics, according to Whistler local website Question.
An employee suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder recently spoke out, saying he killed 70 dogs in April 2010, according to the post. The company reportedly told BC's radio station CKNW they had ordered the killing of 100 dogs.
Both the British Columbia police and Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals are investigating. This is not the first investigation of dogsled companies in the area.
