YouTube user Kristoffer Örstadius's father found a GoPro in a forest with its memory card intact, showing its last moments with a group of skydivers.
A man has uploaded a YouTube video of a GoPro falling 3,000 meters to the ground and remaining intact. Since it was uploaded, the video has garnered more than a million views.
The man, whose username is Kristoffer Örstadius, says his father found the camera in the forest outside Kristianstad, Sweden. It appears to have fallen off a skydiver. The last video recorded on the memory card shows the camera plummeting to the ground and spinning like a kaleidoscope.
The son says he found the skydiver on April 4: “a parachutist in Everod in Skane.”
