Billy Morgan is the first snowboarder on record to complete this trick.
Billy Morgan became the first snowboarder to land a backside 1,800-degree quadruple cork, RedBull.com reported Wednesday.
The UK rider completed the historic feat on Tuesday in Livigno, Italy.
A quad cork 1800 is a jump that includes four off-axis flips and five full rotations. As a point of reference, the previous biggest trick was a triple cork 1620, landed last month by Yuki Kadano, according to RedBull.com. Morgan’s feat eclipsed Kadano’s by a full flip and a half rotation.
But words alone can’t really do Morgan’s trick justice, so you can go ahead and check it out for yourself.
