Music Box Films released the official trailer for Meru on Tuesday. The film follows climbers Jimmy Chin, Conrad Anker, and Renan Ozturk as they attempt to ascend the Shark’s Fin of Mount Meru. The 1,500-foot granite edge in India’s Garhwal Himalaya range has seen more failed summit attempts over the past 30 years than any other route in the Himalayas.
Meru premiered at Sundance, where it won the Audience Award, and will open in theaters on August 14.
