What equipment do I need to start making ski films? Q: I would like to make films like you but I don’t have the right equipment. What kind of camera would be good for a beginner filmmaker, that I could afford?

A: Best equipment is to get a cheap 8mm video camera and just go start making movies. You can buy a three- or four-year-old obsolete one for 20 percent of the cost of a new one.
