With waterproof-breathable eVent fabric at the seat and knees and stretchy Pertex soft-shell material everywhere else, these are our favorite do-it-all mountain pants. They can fend off a prolonged afternoon storm, but three-quarter-length zippers mean they won’t steam your legs in the sun.
