Your new morning commute.
Forget self-driving cars. We want this self-flying human-transport drone instead.
Introduced at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show, the one-passenger machine pilots itself to whatever destination you choose, making sure to always comply with FAA rules. All the systems are also redundant, so a major failure shouldn’t put you on the ground.
The device only has a flight time of 23 minutes and a top speed of 62 miles per hour, so it won’t get you far, nor will it get you anywhere fast. But it could certainly make a morning commute more convenient.
