Survivorman Les Stroud designed the Helle Mandra.
Designed by the famous survivalist Les Stroud (from the television show Survivorman) and handcrafted in Norway, this minimalist knife ($190) fits in a strapped leather sheath and is meant to be worn around your neck. The blade is made from triple laminated stainless steel and the full-length tang is wrapped in birch.
