The brainchild of Kelly Slater and master shaper Al Merrick, the Whip is exceedingly responsive thanks to its single-to-double-concave bottom. Carbon-fiber inlays on the bottom give the Whip a springy feel through turns, while the double-concave deck improves stability by getting your feet closer to the waterline. Best
