Sperry’s SON-R technology (raised bumps on the outsole)is grandiose, but the Ping Buckles’ siped soles (think all-weather tires)are impressive: they stuck to boat decks and paddleboards alike. And the single strap and neoprene upper kept them solidly in place, even when the water got rough.
