For climber Joey Henson, what began as a childhood desire to draw rocks, trees, water, and mountains blossomed into creating maps. In The Mapmaker, from Whitewater, Henson draws maps of his favorite climbing areas around Boone, North Carolina, and sells them to raise funds for land conservation.
