In the late winter of 2015, Alison Criscitiello, Rebecca Haspel, and Kate Harris traversed the eastern Pamir mountains, following along Tajikistan's borders with Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, and China, in search of snow and stories. For six weeks, the all-woman team documented the impact of border fences on migratory wildlife, particularly Marco Polo sheep, and questioned how borders shape our world. Borderski, the resulting documentary from Harris and filmmaker Lindsay Marie Stewart, is slated to be released in fall of 2016.
