Dean Potter buzzed the ice cream social at Telluride Mountainfilm Festival on Saturday afternoon in a wingsuit. Without his dog Whisper along for the ride, Potter jumped out of a single-engine plane just above town and flew over main street before landing at the edge of town. Brett Schreckengost and crew shot Potter’s stunt and turned around this quick edit to be shown the next day to festival crowds. Dean Potter and Mountainfilm director David Holbrooke were responsible for the idea.
