In the seventh installment of Kelly Slater: Lost Tapes, “The End of the Road,” Slater heads to Teahupoo, Tahiti. Over the course of his career, he’s won five events in Teahupoo, so the locale means a lot to the surfer. Despite reconnecting with the community and Tahiti’s surf, though, Slater struggles to find his footing in the contest.
Kelly Slater: Lost Tapes, from Outerknown and World Surf League, is a film series that gives fans an intimate look at Slater’s personal life, training regimen, and competition highs and lows during the 2019 World Surf League Championship Tour.
