When Jeff Davis’s father passed away, he became obsessed with fly-fishing. His dad, an avid fisherman, left behind an extensive collection of fly-fishing gear, including rods, flies, and waders. As Davis parsed the equipment, he became inspired to start his own business making fly rods, using locally sourced materials and handcrafting the rods himself. The Inspiration tells the story of the birth of the Maine Fly Company in 2018.
