In this educational video from Teton Gravity Research, Colter Hinchliffe and Tim Durtschi instruct us in a variety of ski carrying techniques native to the Austrian Alps. While North Americans will be familiar with the classic over-the-shoulder carry technique known as The Local, they’ll be less familiar with Austrian techniques such as The Offering, The Decapitator, The Oklahoma Suitcase, and The Reverse Local.
