A hiker near Washington’s Snoqualmie Pass found himself stuck on the side of a cliff recently and had to call for a help. The Snohomish County Helicopter Rescue Team was called in after the hiker told the sheriff’s office that he couldn’t hold on to the ledge he was clinging to much longer. The team captured this footage of their bold rescue attempt, and managed to save the hiker using the Strop extraction technique.
