The Broken Arrow Skyrace is held in Squaw Valley, the site of the 1960 Winter Olympic Games. What is a skyrace you may ask? It’s a niche discipline within ultrarunning focused on running over mountain ranges or, as its founder Marino Giacometti put it, running where the earth meets the sky. The majority of Broken Arrow takes place above 6,000 feet, which makes it the perfect challenge for climbers Emily Harrington and Adrian Ballinger
