When Senior Editor Grayson Schaffer reported on delisting Grizzlies for the January Issue of Outside, he spent several days with Casey Anderson in the Tom Miner Basin, north of Yellowstone National Park. A rancher had put down an old horse, and local bears were making regular visits to the carcass. He also got to meet Anderson’s buddy, Brutus.
