Growing up in Salt Lake, kayaker Dan Gavere often found himself in some whitewater on the weekends. Heading up to Missoula for college, he eventually joined the U.S. Freestyle Kayaking team, and from there his career has allowed him to progress into Whitewater SUP. He's learned a lot of lessons from the river and continues to teach them to the sport's newcomers. Follow along with Gavere here and all Avex's outdoor series here.
