Ultrarunner Anna Frost was born in New Zealand and grew up running and playing field hockey. Early in her career, Frost’s triathlon team was setting up gates for the New Zealand Mountain Running Championships when her coach urged her to enter. She won. Soon after, she joined the New Zealand International Mountain Running team and has won races all over the world, taking home many international championships including the North Face Endurance 50 and the Bear 100 Mile Endurance Race. On July 14, 2017, Frost will be attempting to win the Hardrock 100 for the third straight year. My Love for Racing, from 9Mind Asylum, chronicles her buildup to the event.
