7 Deserts is a video series from The African Attachment that follows ultrarunner Mina Guli as she runs 40 marathons across seven deserts on seven continents in seven weeks. For the fourth leg of the project, Guli headed to the Simpson Desert in Australia, where she grew up. Here, Guli talks about the roots of her advocacy, saying, “I could have continued on a path of making money and building my business and building other businesses but I chose instead to do something I'm totally passionate about and that I think we need to fix.” You can follow The African Attachment on Facebook here and on Instagram here.
