In our ongoing Weekly Escape series, we aim to transport you from your desk to an incredible place in two minutes or less. This week, it's to the mountains. Filmmaker Josh Cowan traveled over alpine peaks in numerous countries and even had to make a second trip back to capture all the footage for his latest film, Alpine Adventure. Austria's glassy, frozen lakes provided him with shots of true solitude, and the steam-engine trains in Harz, Germany, provide a lifeline back to the rest of society.
