In our ongoing Weekly Escape series, we aim to transport you from your desk to an incredible place in two minutes or less. This week, filmmaker Stephen Perrera follows paddleboarder Tom Cawthorn as he greets the sun in Gibraltar, a British territory near the southern tip of Spain where the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean meet. Cawthorn loves paddling here because each day the conditions vary greatly due to shifting winds.
